Under 3s go free / Under 12s must be accompanied by an adult – No entry alone
Ratio of 4 children to 1 adult is required to gain access to the maze for health and safety reasons
This is quite a large field, and little ones can get lost and scared if not supervised
RULES AND REGS
If you get lost there is a track that runs all around the maze – if you take this, it will lead you back to the start
If it has been raining, then boots and wellies are advisable – white trainers will not come out as white as you went in to the maze
Paths are wide enough for buggies and wheelchairs – these are much easier to negotiate on dryer days
As this is a field the paths can get muddy and hard work pushing a buggy / wheelchair if it has been raining
Please always stick to the set paths - Please do not damage or cut through the maze as this damages the crop
DOG RULES
Dogs are welcome into the maze, but the must always be on a lead – poo bags must be taken in with you – if not we have some that we can give out
Please do NOT drop poo bags in the maze as this is harvested for our cow food for the winter and is very dangerous for the cows to eat
Please use the bins provided at the gates
LITTER
Please also do not drop any litter in the maze as our cows don’t want this in their dinner either -We have a bin by our maze gate please use it!
MAIZE COBS
Please do not pick the cobs as these are for our cows only - this may look like sweetcorn, but it is not and it doesn’t taste like it – the maize is grown as animal feed / treated and is not fit for human consumption – you will have a bad tummy of you eat it
MAIZE LEAVES
Please take care if you touch the maize leaves as some have sharp edges and they can cut your fingers if pulled
